Field Details:

The following editable fields are available. Changes in this dialog are applied automatically to the target plot item. As such, it can be useful to be able to see both the title box and the Title Box dialog at the same time:

Appearance: control how the title box appears:

Border: choose if the title box has a visible external border. This setting only applies to the outer boundary of the entire title box.

Inner/Outer Cell Borders: enable or disable the internal and/or external cell borders. For example, the following image shows disabled Outer Cell Borders but enabled Inner Cell Borders:

With both Inner and Outer Cell Borders enabled:

Cell Margins: used in combination with the Cell Margin Width setting (see below), this is used to control the internal 'padding' of each cell. Cell margins are applied evenly around all margins of all cells in the title box. For example, the image on the left shows Cell Margins set to [Yes] and a margin of 0.5 applied. The image on the right is where Cell Margins is set to [No]:

Border Color: pick the color of the exterior border of the title box, if one is displayed.

Cell Border Color: control the color of the interior cells of the title box, if they are displayed.

Cell Contents Color: pick the default color used for items within the title box. If items have a color specified, this will be preserved; the color selected here will only be applied where default coloring of text is applied in any cell.

Border Width: the width of the exterior border of the title box, if borders are applied (see above).

Cell Border Width: the width of all interior cell borders within the title box, if cell borders are applied (see above).

Cell Margin Width: used in combination with the Cell Margins setting, if displayed, this is the width used to pad interior cells.

Visible: controls if the title box is visible or not on the plot sheet. On by default.

Opaque: by default, the title box will fully obscure any items that are 'behind'. If set to [No]

Font: manage how default fonts will appear when added to a title box. Settings made here will apply to plot items containing text after changes have been made - existing items will not be affected.

Position: determine the position and dimensions of the title box here. Changes are applied dynamically so the spin buttons can be useful. Where size changes are involved, all title box cells will be scaled proportionally.

Location/1/2: if the plot item is a locatable type, these groups contain the position information that aligns the title box in 3D.
